The Comfort of Christ
A Nativity Scene was erected in a church yard.
During the night, someone came across this.
An abandoned dog was looking for a comfortable, protected place to sleep. He chose baby Jesus as his comfort.
No one had the heart to send him away so he was there all night.
We should all have the good sense of this dog and curl up in Jesus' lap from time to time.
This is too sweet not to share.
No one mentioned that the dog breed is a "shepherd!"

Homemade Teepee
We decided to make a teepee for the kids. It is made out of bamboo rods, 1 king size sheet (cut very strategically), and hot glue. No teepee is complete without a play fire and an animal print rug!

Thanksgiving Craft
I love these Thanksgiving Pilgrim hat cut-outs my Mom made me. They are so easy and taped to the inside of my lamps! Just print out (or draw) pilgrim hats, cut and tape!

A Turkey with a 'tude!
I have to agree. Christmas season starts the day after Thanksgiving, but until then, it's all about the turkey!

Batty Lamp Shades
Here is a picture of the precious Batty Lamp shades my amazing mom made me. They are bats drawn onto a piece of white paper, cut out, and taped to the inside of the lamp shade. They are just the right amount of Halloween spirit for my tiny apartment! Thanks again, Mom!
These put me in such a good mood!
